OUR MISSION

ITOWN Production exists to build a community of believers who use audio, video, and lighting technology to enhance the worship experience and help create a high-quality, distraction-free environment that supports the mission and vision of ITOWN Church.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to create a distraction free environment and provide an extension of the worship experience, enhancing encounters with God both live and online.

TEAM VALUES

Relationships:
We will always nurture relations with our teams, steward their time and talents, and empower them to mature in the giftings with which they have been blessed by God.

Order:
We have implemented systems of reliability, consistency and communication that allow us to embody a spirit of order in all we do.

Flexibility:
We understand that things can and will change in a live environment, and we will adapt to those changes with open-mindedness, calmness and professionalism.

Innovation:
We will constantly strive to seek out new technology, enact creative techniques and develop efficient systems and processes that will allow us to fulfill our mission more effectively.

Excellence:
We realize that perfection is impossible, but we will always work to nurture an atmosphere of excellence, while still providing the grace necessary to make mistakes and learn from them.

TEAM OVERVIEW

JOIN THE TEAM

Welcome to ITOWN Church Production! We are so excited that you are interested in joining the team and cannot wait to see you use your God-given talents and serve alongside you.

NO PREVIOUS PRODUCTION KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED! Serving on the production team requires no previous knowledge of production or the team component in which you are interested in serving. Our team loves helping you steward your gifts to serve in the capacity to which God is calling you.

Let’s set up a time to grab a coffee and chat about your next steps to join the ITOWN Church Production Team.

MORE ABOUT PRODUCTION

Infuse is the development process for ITOWN Production. It exists to prepare Production Team members for an ITOWN Church service experience.

Infuse is currently held every Thursday evening at 6PM. You will be requested to coach or train at Infuse through Planning Center Online. (There is NO Infuse in December for the Production Team due to Christmas rehearsals and services.)

If you have not been through the Production Team orientation, please use the link below to schedule a time that is convenient for you.

If you are unable to find a time that is convenient for you using the link above, please email production@itownchurch.com with 3 dates and times that would work well for you and we will make sure to coordinate something that is mutually convenient.

INFUSE TRAINING PROCESS

Vision: To train our team with the necessary skills that help create a moving worship experience and develop their hearts to align with the values of ITOWN Church (love God, love people, work hard, have fun).

INFUSE BREAKDOWN | THURSDAY EVENINGS
5:45pm – Call Time
6:00pm – Group Training Starts
6:30pm – Group Training Ends / Run Through Starts
7:30pm – Final Run Through
7:45pm – Dismissal

1. Orient
Production Orientation: Casts vision for our team members, lays out our expectation of them, and invites them into the culture of our team. You will tour the production facilities, get to discuss the production services positions and responsibilities and determine a position that you would like to initially learn.

2. Learn
One-on-one Coaching: Each person will have a coach to learn skills and be mentored by – they will learn specific roles on the team, the heart behind the why, and develop a personal relationship with someone on our team.

  • INFUSE: INFUSE is structured to provide a safe and welcoming environment where each Production Team position has a coach and a student.  During each INFUSE session there is hands-on training for elements of worship and service.
  • Coaches’ Expectations: Be available for questions and be intentional in conversations – leading students and yourselves closer to Christ.  Be a part of their life.  Each Production Team Position has a specific guide and benchmarks to help coach students on all aspects of the position that you are coaching.
  • Students’ Expectations: Trust the process, be open to learning – even if you think you know, be hungry to grow. Each Production Team Position has a guide and benchmarks to help students learn all aspects of the position that you are learning to prepare you to be ready to serve a weekend service.

3. Shadow
Service Shadowing: Once a coach feels confident for a student to move forward from INFUSE, the student will get scheduled to shadow their position on a weekend service. From there, they will observe and be observed until they can Go.

  • Observe: Observe your role to continue gaining the knowledge to successfully own the position for yourself.  This will allow you to see your position through the entire service flow.
  • Be Observed: Take ownership of your role with a mentor at your side to guide you as you grow.

4. Go
Serving: Congratulations!! You are ready to serve the weekends!

We serve diligently behind the scenes to support the Go Team, Pastors and speakers that serve on stage in any capacity we can, using the tools and procedures available. We serve so guests are able to hear the truth of God’s Word and experience Him in a unified worship environment. We are charged with the protection of this environment through maintaining a spirit of excellence and authenticity.

RESOURCE REQUEST

Is there a resource that we are missing or that needs to be updated to help us better support the ITOWN Church Production Team?

WEEKEND FEEDBACK FORM

Below you will find answers to some commonly asked questions.  If you can’t find the answer to your question, please email production@itownchurch.com.

How do I know if the Production Team is right for me?
To find out if the Production Team is right for you, go through the Grow Plan and complete the Personality Assessment and the Spiritual Gifts Assessment. You can find these assessments here.

How do I join the team?
The best way to join the Production Team is to start by going through the Grow Plan at one of our locations.

How do I know when I am scheduled?
We use Planning Center Online to schedule our team to serve. You will get notifications when you are requested to serve and the app will allow you to see all of the services that you have accepted to serve. In Planning Center you will also be able to see the call times, rehearsal times and service times that are associated with your schedule. To visit Planning Center click here.

What is GroupMe?
GroupMe is a free app that allows for easy communication between team members and groups of team members. It can be easily downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You will be added to the ITOWN Production GroupMe after you have graduated INFUSE. Your team leads and Campus Producers may also add you into other GroupMe chats.

What are “service blocks”?
To help facilitate a distraction free environment, the production team serves in service blocks, not by individual services.  One example of this is a weekend service block consisting of a rehearsal and 2-4 services.  Service blocks can change based on the season that ITOWN Church is in and the campus at which you are serving.

Where do I park?
We honor guests by giving them preferred parking. We ask that all team members park away from high traffic areas. This looks different for every campus, so ask your Team Leader or Campus Producer where the production team parks at the campus at which you are serving.

What do I wear to serve?
Dress appropriately. What we wear can sometimes speak louder than what we say. Be mindful to not dress in a manner that would distract others or cause you potential harm. ITOWN Church does not ask for a specific attire for the production team, however, please refrain from wearing shorts, skirts, or dresses that are shorter than your fingertips, halter tops or spaghetti straps (except as a layering piece), or extremely baggy clothing. Use your best judgment and ask your Team Leader or Campus Producer if you have questions. *Stagehands wear all black*

How do I check-in when I am serving?

Rock is the database we use to help care for the team. Every time you serve, we ask that you check-in at the designated iPad. This allows the church to have accurate measurements of active team members, how many are serving each week, and how our teams are growing. During this check-in process, name tags will be printed for you to identify that you are serving and on what team you serve.

How do I know the service flow when I am serving?
You can find the service flow in Planning Center Online. To visit Planning Center click here.
